About Us
Our Story
Dream Stuff Studio was born from more than 20 years in tree surgery in North London through Tree Work Solutions Ltd — a life spent among trees, their beauty, their strength and their decline.
Along the way, when felling trees, I came across extraordinary pieces of timber, rich in grain, form and character, that were destined for landfill, composting or firewood. It felt wrong to let such material disappear without giving it another life, so I began setting a few pieces aside. One became a table, then another, until a small collection began to emerge.
What began as salvage became sculpture. From that same instinct came the bathtubs — vessels of water and calm, handcrafted to honour the material and invite a deeper stillness into the spaces we live in.
The Studio
In our studio, timber is reimagined — shaped into sculptural bathtubs and one-of-a-kind tables that bring warmth, presence, and story into a space. Each piece is crafted with care, honouring the natural character of the wood and the quiet beauty of functional design.
Where it all began
Back in my school days, a visit to a friend’s home left a lasting impression on me. The wood throughout the house had been transformed in a way I had never seen before. Every surface seemed alive with carved figures, scenes, ornaments and playful marks. It showed me that a simple piece of timber could hold movement, feeling and imagination, and it planted a deep respect for craftsmanship that stayed with me for years.
More than twenty years in tree surgery in North London brought me close to trees in every stage of their life, strength and decline. Along the way, I came across remarkable pieces of timber, rich in grain, form and character, that were too often destined for landfill, composting or firewood. It never felt right to see such material reduced to waste.
What began with setting aside a few special pieces slowly became something more. First came the tables. Then came the bathtubs. Dream Stuff Studio grew from that instinct: to honour the material, to give it another life, and to shape it into objects that bring calm, beauty and presence into the spaces we live in.
These pieces are more than functional objects. They are invitations to slow down, reconnect, and discover how much character, inspiration and feeling wood can carry.
