Discovered during a tree surgery project in Muswell Hill, this remarkable centrepiece was nearly lost to compost due to advanced rot. Beneath layers of decay lay a hidden hollow — a core sculpted by time into otherworldly forms and textures.

A custom-cut, extra-thick toughened glass top follows the undulating contours of the cherry wood base, seamlessly complementing its organic beauty. The interplay between the raw, natural form and the sleek clarity of glass creates a captivating contrast — a piece that feels both timeless and boldly contemporary.

Discreetly installed at the inner base, LED lights encircle the hollow form, casting shifting tones and subtle colour variations that bring the piece to life — creating an atmosphere that’s both ambient and enchanting.
